Mastercard Zero Liability Changes

Effective October 17, 2014 MasterCard is extending its zero liability limitation in the U.S. to include all MasterCard PIN-based and ATM transactions. This is in addition to the coverage already provided on signature based transactions. To be covered by the zero liability limits, you the cardholder must promptly report the loss or theft within 2 business days of becoming aware of it, AND exercise reasonable care to protect your card from loss or theft. If you fail to do so the MasterdCard limitations will not apply-limitations established by federal law may still apply. For more information visit: http://newsroom.mastercard.com/press-releases
